| "You gotta give back to this scene". You don't just sit there and consume from it, you don't just sit there behind your computer and download all your fucking albums for free and give nothing back. Start a band, start a fucking zine, start a website, start a distro, there's a million things you can do. Just get out there and do it. Stop waiting for someone else to do it for you. Don't be a lazy fuck! It's all stupid. I dress up, I like putting my hair up before a show, it keeps me feeling young but when it comes down to the end of the day none of that shit fucking matters. It's what you put back, it's what's in your mind, and it's what's your heart. So if you're going to be involved in this scene I think you should be putting something back into it if you're going to take from it. That's what keeps this scene going: it's the bands, the zines, the websites, the ideas, that's what keeps the scene going. 40oz bottles do not keep the scene going! And these kids that wreck the venues, I just want to round 'em all up and punch them in the face individually. These kids that get the fucking venues shut down by drinking outside the club under-aged, smashing bottles, and starting fights, and then the bands have nowhere to play during the tours. If you're not there for the band, don't go to the fucking shows. If you're going to wreck the venue for your whole scene, stay home! You're a fucking poser and you'll be out of the scene in a week anyway.
